According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, Dwyane Wade has reached a buyout agreement with the Chicago Bulls and is a free agent again.
Woj reports that the Cavs, Heat, Spurs, and Thunder are all possibilities for Wade but he’ll take his time to consider all his options.
The Bulls are in full-tank mode now that they traded Jimmy Butler and that wasn’t exactly the right place for Wade at this point in his career.
Now we’ll see if Wade joins LeBron James in Cleveland, joins a contender out West, or decides to ride off into the sunset back in Miami. My guess is Cleveland but we’ll have to wait and see.
It is debatable how much of an impact Wade can even have at this point. There are times when he’s still a dynamic scorer, but he’s slowing down and limited in other areas of the game - in particular on defense.
