After sitting out of the Boston Celtics’ home loss to the Philadelphia 76ers Thursday with shoulder soreness, Kyrie Irving is expected to return Sunday against the Orlando Magic.
Kyrie Irving (shoulder) practiced today and is expected to return tomorrow after a one-game absence. Aron Baynes is sick and did not practice today.

The Celtics were held to their lowest scoring total of the season and turned the ball over 19 times in Irving’s absence, and the superstar point guard will certainly help them get back on track.
In other news, Guerschon Yabusele and Abdel Nader were assigned to the Maine Red Claws again on Saturday. The Red Claws play Saturday at 7 p.m. EST, so they should be able to get some solid playing time before Boston’s home game tomorrow afternoon and their upcoming west-coast road trip.
You can watch the Red Claws game on Facebook Live in real time, but NBC Sports Boston will also have the game on at 9:30 p.m. EST on tape delay.
The Celtics and Magic tip off Sunday at 1 p.m. EST for a matinee game ahead of the NFL’s conference championship games.
