This is the fifth time Horford has been selected to the All Star game in his career(First since joining the Celtics). He’s averaging 13.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and a career high 5.3 assists per game. Horford is shooting an excellent 43% from three as a big, and has been one of the two most important pieces on the eastern conference leading Celtics.
Along with Horford, the eastern conference reserves include Kristaps Porzingis, Kevin Love, Kyle Lowry, Bradley Beal, Victor Oladipo, and John Wall. Horford also joins Kyrie Irving in the game who is a starter, and it will be up to LeBron James and Stephen Curry in whether Horford and Irving will play on the same team.
The All star Game is scheduled for February 18th at 8 p.m. EST.
