Tatum and Brown will play for Team U.S.A. in the NBA’s Rising Stars game

NBA: Boston Celtics at New York Knicks Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA announced the rosters for All Star weekend’s Rising Star’s game on Wednesday, and Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were selected to participate.

Brown and Tatum will play on Team U.S.A along with Donovan Mitchell, Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Dennis Smith Jr., Kris Dunn, Brandon Ingram, Malcolm Brogdon, and John Collins.

Brown and Tatum have been a key reason for the Celtics’ success this season after losing Gordon Hayward to injury. Brown is the second leading scorer on the team behind Kyrie Irving, and Jayson Tatum has been sitting at the top of the league’s three-point leaders all year.

Boston now has four participants at All Star weekend along with Irving and Al Horford. The Rising Stars game will take place on February 16th at 6 p.m. EST in Los Angeles.
