Horford missed two games earlier this season and substantial time last year with a concussion, so it’s a smart move by the Celtics to make sure that the injury doesn’t keep occurring.
Smart’s situation is curious. Jay King reported that the Celtics are still doing research to see how Smart cut his hand in the hotel, but he confirmed that it happened the day of the game. It is not clear which hand Smart cut, and there has not been a return date given.
The Celtics and Clippers tip off at 10:30 p.m. EST on ESPN as the Celtics try to get back to their winning ways after dropping four straight.
