BOSTON - The Boston Celtics and the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation raised more than $1 million tonight for local children’s charities at their annual Shamrock Gala. The Celtics 2018-19 roster, coaching staff, front office, and ownership highlighted the tremendous event in affiliation with New England Baptist Hospital.

Prior to the program beginning, Terry Rozier, Brad Stevens, Marcus Smart, and Celtics Lead Owner Wyc Grousbeck spoke to the media.

Earlier this week, Brian Robb of Boston Sports Journal reported that Rozier and the Celtics are engaging in contract extension talks. Rozier was relatively straight forward about the news tonight. “If it’s right for me to sign an extension, I will. If it’s not, it still can happen in the summer.”

Brad Stevens voiced his appreciation for the Celtics point guard, saying that it’s pretty clear how everyone feels about Rozier. “I think it’s very clear how all of us players, coaches and front office, people in Boston, everybody you run into, how they feel about Terry. And it’d be great if we could have him here for a long, long, time.”

Check out everything Stevens, Smart, and Grousbeck had to say below:
