Report: These are the “City” jerseys the Celtics will wear this year

While this hasn’t been announced officially yet, Legion Hoops is reporting that the Celtics new City jerseys will be white with green lettering and gold trim, as seen above.

In case you missed it, Nike changed the format of alternative jerseys, rolling out 4 different uniforms for each team. We’ve already seen the Celtics classic whites and greens and the black uniforms are in full rotation.

Last year’s City uniforms were grey and green. They weren’t the horrible sleeved monstrosities from years past, but I wasn’t personally all that impressed with them. To each his own though.

I dig these gold trimmed ones. They kind of remind me of the old Starter jackets from the 80’s.
