Aron Baynes will play Tuesday night vs Detroit Pistons

BOSTON - Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens confirmed before Tuesday night’s game that center Aron Baynes will play against the Detroit Pistons at TD Garden.

Baynes was listed as probable on tonight’s injury report before Stevens’ pregame press conference.

The Celtics will welcome back the big man’s presence following the loss of center Daniel Theis. Theis is out indefinitely with a slight plantar fascia tear in his right foot.

Boston’s Tuesday night matchup with Detroit tips-off from TD Garden at 7:30 PM EST.
