The Boston Celtics announced on Wednesday morning that wing Jaylen Brown has been upgraded to available for tonight’s matchup with the Phoenix Suns. Brown was listed as questionable on Tuesday afternoon with a right hand contusion.

Head coach Brad Stevens said on Tuesday that Brown suffered the hand contusion during his fall against Dallas on November 24th. Stevens called it a “residual” injury from the fall, which was the same incident that caused Brown to miss the next three games with a bruised lower back. The discomfort in his hand kicked back up in Detroit on Saturday, which caused him to make another appearance on the injury report. Brown only participated in some portions of Tuesday’s practice, but it’s now clear that he’ll be good to go for tonight’s matchup with the Suns.

Whether Brown will be under any minute restriction on Wednesday has yet to be determined, but we will have you covered during Steven’s pregame availability from TD Garden later tonight.

The Celtics and Suns tip-off at 7:30 PM EST.
