#NEBHInjuryReport vs. Charlotte tomorrow:
— Boston Celtics (@celtics) December 22, 2018
Aron Baynes (left fourth metacarpal fracture) - OUT
Al Horford (patellofemoral pain syndrome) - PROBABLE
Marcus Morris (right knee soreness) - QUESTIONABLE
After being initially diagnosed with patellar tendonitis, Al Horford missed seven games, including all of the Celtics’ current three-game losing streak. It’s been a slightly sub par season for Horford so far; his scoring and rebounding have dipped slightly but the glaring difference has been his inconsistent shooting from the behind the arc (34.1 3FG%).
His return to the lineup should have a stabilizing effect for the team. Boston has been out-rebounded by 19 boards in back-to-back losses against Milwaukee and Phoenix and lacked any physical presence in the paint.
We’ll get an update on Marcus Morris as the 6 pm nears.
