ESPN released an NBA player poll on Monday that shows us what certain players think about different aspects of the league. The polls are completely anonymous, but it’s fun to see what the popular opinion is around the league.
Most of the questions were about LeBron James and his free agency decision this summer, but the Celtics were voted as the best team in making free agency pitches.

The Celtics have found major success in the last two summers in snagging the top free agents available. After setting themselves up with a ton of cap space and draft capital, Boston was able to sign Al Horford and Gordon Hayward in consecutive off seasons.
That’s also not to mention them securing a meeting with Kevin Durant two summers ago, and reportedly coming very close to securing the reigning Finals MVP before he went to Golden State. Boston brought Tom Brady to Durant’s meeting, and took Hayward to Fenway Park on the day of his visit.
The Celtics probably won’t be after any big name free agents this offseason given their current cap situation, but with Kyrie Irving set to become an unrestricted free agent next summer, it’s probably comforting for Celtics fans to know that their team gives the best pitch.
