The Boston Celtics announced Wednesday that Daniel Theis will miss the team’s home game against the Charlotte Hornets with a right hamstring soreness.
#NEBHInjuryReport for tonight’s game vs. @hornets:

Hayward (Left Ankle Rehab) - OUT
Theis (Right Hamstring Soreness) - OUT
Theis was playing stellar basketball coming out of the All Star break, averaging around 12 points and seven rebounds in over 21 minutes per game. His absence should open the door for the struggling Greg Monroe to get some quality minutes off the bench behind Aron Baynes.
The Celtics and Hornets tip off at 7:30 p.m. EST in TD Garden as Boston goes for its fourth win in a row.
