Stevens also said that while Brown is progressing in his recovery from a concussion he suffered in Minnesota Thursday, he doesn’t expect to see him playing this week.
Jaylen Brown went to Waltham today to meet with Celtics doctors. He still has a headache. Hasn't even started a progression back. Still sore from the fall.

Horford on the other hand was a late scratch from the game with an illness. The Celtics’ star center apparently tried to come to TD Garden and play in his condition, but was ultimately sent home to rest.
Stevens is now forced to break up his second unit that had been clicking since the All Star break by starting Smart and Morris. Even though he isn’t starting, look for Greg Monroe to play a pivotal role in this game with Horford out.
The shorthanded Celtics tip off against Indiana at 7:30 p.m. EST at TD Garden.
