Al Horford and Terry Rozier to rest in regular season finale vs Brooklyn

One more game to go before playoffs

NBA: Houston Rockets at Boston Celtics Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

The Celtics wrap up their regular season schedule Wednesday with a home matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. With their playoff seed locked in at the second spot in the east, they will rest Terry Rozier and Al Horford.

After injuring his knee against the Chicago Bulls last Friday, Guerschon Yabusele is questionable for tonight’s game.

It seems that Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum will in fact play against the Nets, though most likely in limited action. The real storyline for the Celtics on Wednesday is probably their first round opponent. The Miami Heat, Washington Wizards and Milwaukee Bucks are all still in play to face Boston in the first round of the postseason.

The Celtics and Nets tip off at 8:00 p.m. EST in TD Garden as the 2017-18 season comes to a close. Be sure to check the scores of the three games listed above. Boston’s first round opponent will be made clear by the end of tonight’s games.
