The Celtics wrap up their regular season schedule Wednesday with a home matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. With their playoff seed locked in at the second spot in the east, they will rest Terry Rozier and Al Horford.
After injuring his knee against the Chicago Bulls last Friday, Guerschon Yabusele is questionable for tonight’s game.
#NEBHInjuryReport for tonight’s game vs. @BrooklynNets:
— Boston Celtics (@celtics) April 11, 2018
Horford (rest) - OUT
Rozier (rest) - OUT
Yabusele (left knee soreness) - QUESTIONABLE
Hayward, Irving, Smart and Theis all remain out.
It seems that Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum will in fact play against the Nets, though most likely in limited action. The real storyline for the Celtics on Wednesday is probably their first round opponent. The Miami Heat, Washington Wizards and Milwaukee Bucks are all still in play to face Boston in the first round of the postseason.
Celtics will lose in Washington.
