Celtics-Bucks injury update: John Henson (back) doubtful

Milwaukee will likely be without their rim protector in a must-win Game 3

NBA: Boston Celtics at Milwaukee Bucks Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

As the first round series between the Celtics and Bucks shifts to Milwaukee, John Henson is listed as doubtful with back soreness.

Henson played 37 minutes at center for the Bucks in the first two games of the series, averaging eight points, six rebounds, and 3.5 blocks. He started 69 games for the Bucks this season, providing rim protection and length alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo in the front court.

Milwaukee’s front court options if Henson misses Game 3 are ex-Celtic Tyler Zeller, Thon Maker and Jabari Parker. There has not been an update to which player will make the start tonight.

The Celtics and Bucks are scheduled to tip off at 9:30 p.m. EST in Milwaukee as the Celtics look to go up 3-0 in this first round series.
