Celtics Practice Report: The morning of Game 7 (video)

The Boston Celtics held shootaround on Saturday morning, where we heard from Brad Stevens, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart.

WALTHAM - The Boston Celtics held a shootaround on Saturday morning, less than 12 hours before their pivotal Game 7 against the Milwaukee Bucks. Brad Stevens, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart met with media, discussing the implications of tonight’s must-win matchup.

Brown spoke about a “backs-against-the-wall” mentality heading into tonight’s game, while also focusing on the mental preparation aspect of the moment. “We got nothing to lose. Everybody has been writing us off anyway. We got our backs on the wall, it’s at home, we’re going to come out and bust through that wall.” What does he expect from Game 7 at TD Garden? “The perfect basketball environment.”

Stevens said the Celtics have a great opportunity in front of them, while also talking about the current state of Boston sports, and how he’s excited to be a part of it.
