WALTHAM - Brad Stevens spoke to the media on Sunday afternoon following the team’s Game 7 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. He said that Jaylen Brown is doubtful for Monday’s Game 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers, but did have a positive outlook on the guard’s availability for the remainder of the series.
After saying that he was doubtful, Stevens said that Brown “did have some testing, and that looked good, thankfully... It looks like it could be something that allows him to play as the series goes on.”
Marcus Morris discussed returning home to Philadelphia for the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Celtics big man said he’ll be “a little nervous at first” playing in front of his friends and family when the series heads to Philly for Game 3, but said that he’ll “still get those numbers.”
Al Horford and Aron Baynes focused on the matchup at hand, talking about facing the two-headed monster of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Both players will have major roles in defending the Sixers’ two young stars.
