Stevens shakes up the starting five to prepare for LeBron James and Kevin Love

NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers at Boston Celtics Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Ahead of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Brad Stevens will change up the Celtics’ starting lineup by inserting Marcus Morris for Aron Baynes.

The Cavaliers have gone with LeBron James and Kevin Love in their front court this postseason, a matchup more suited for Morris and Al Horford. Baynes will likely be matched up with Tristan Thompson primarily to keep the Cleveland big man off the offensive glass.

Morris will almost certainly draw James as his defensive assignment off the tip, a cover he has done well with in the past relative to the rest of the NBA. He told reporters yesterday that other than Kawhi Leonard, he is the best in the league at guarding LeBron.

The Celtics and Cavs tip off on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. EST in Game 1 of this East Finals rematch from a year ago.
