According to Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe, Jayson Tatum (Rookie of the Year), Kyrie Irving (Play of the Year), and Brad Stevens (Coach of the Year) will not attend Monday’s NBA Awards. Aron Baynes will represent the team and accept any awards on their behalf.
Also, finalists Jayson Tatum (rookie of year) and Kyrie Irving (play of year) aren’t expected to attend the NBA Awards. Was told that Aron Baynes will be there to represent the Celtics and accept any awards on their behalf. Not a move of a guy who expects to be elsewhere soon.

As Himmelsbach pointed out, this would hint at Baynes expecting to remain with the Celtics for the 2018-19 season. This comes just over 12 hours after CelticsBlog’s Keith Smith reported that Boston intends to bring Baynes back for next season.
Source: Drafting of Robert Williams has no impact on the Celtics intention to re-sign Aron Baynes. "We still intend to have Aron back in Boston and he's told us this is where he wants to be."

We’ll continue to follow any Baynes updates as the offseason rolls on.
