Per Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald, the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs have had discussions about Kawhi Leonard, but the two sides have made no headway.
NEW: The latest tonight on the Celtics and Kawhi Leonard. After minimal contact between the C's and Spurs, factors are still preventing a heavy pursuit at this time. https://t.co/w5hC7DaDHR

According to Bulpett’s latest update on the situation, a league source said that the Spurs and Celtics had a “brief discussion” today, but no “real” negotiations took place. This was the first contact between the two teams since before the draft.
This was followed by a report from Yahoo’s Chris Mannix, which said that San Antonio is in no rush to deal their star forward.
Multiple teams that have engaged the Spurs on Kawhi have come away with a similar feeling: The Spurs will listen to offers, but are not showing any urgency in making a deal. SA didn’t see the draft as a deadline, they likely won’t see free agency as a deadline, either.
