Former University of Rhode Island forward Hassan Martin will play for the Boston Celtics at Las Vegas Summer League this July.
University of Rhode Island product Hassan Martin will play for the Boston Celtics at Las Vegas Summer League. He played for the Magic in Orlando Summer League last year, before spending the year with the Ryukyu Golden Kings in Japan.

Martin played for the Orlando Magic in last year’s Summer League, averaging 6.5 points and 4.3 rebounds in 4 games heading to Japan.
The 6-7 forward played four years at URI where he averaged 10.7 points and 6.5 rebounds over 121 career games.
CelticsBlog’s Keith Smith reported that guard Pierria Henry has also been added to the Celtics’ Summer League roster.
Guard Pierria Henry will play for the Boston Celtics at Las Vegas Summer League. He graduated from Charlotte in 2015 and has been playing overseas since, most recently with Tofas SC in Turkey.

The Charlotte product has played 3 seasons overseas, averaging 8.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 49 total games.
Las Vegas Summer League kicks off next Friday, July 6.
