Semi Ojeleye came out of the gates strong with 7 points on 3⁄4 shooting in his first 8 minutes. This came as a nice improvement after the forward finished with just 3 points in Saturday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets. Ojeleye would ultimately finish with 13 points and 7 rebounds on 5/10 FG.
Brad Stevens spoke to the media at halftime and seems to enjoy Ojeleye’s play:

Unfortunately, game three lacked Guerschon Yabusele posters Jabari Bird 360 dunks, but the Celtics did have a solid courtside crew taking in this one. Sitting next to the scorers table was Jaylen Brown, Terry Rozier, Danny Ainge, and Mike Zarren. Brad Stevens sat in the stands.
One bright spot from the Celtics’ Summer League win was Iowa product Jared Uthoff. The 6-9 forward was terrific on the offensive end, going for 16 points and 6 rebounds on 6/9 shooting to lead the scoring for Boston alongside Jabari Bird.
Yabusele looked solid throughout, finishing with 14 points and 8 rebounds in 26 minutes. Jabari Bird continued his strong summer with 16 points and 5 assists.
Guard Trey Davis saw his first action of the Summer and took full advantage. The former UMASS point guard put up 11 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds. He created plenty of offensive for the Celtics, seeing the floor well and creating plenty of space for his teammates.
Through three Summer League games, one of the bigger takeaways should be the play of Uthoff and Hassan Martin. Both forwards have been consistently productive for Boston, and could very well receive training camp invites. Martin finished with 12 points and 6 rebounds tonight.
The Celtics will play on either Wednesday or Thursday in the tournament section of Summer League.
