Celtics history discussion: Which former Celtics player do you wish you could have watched?

The Boston Celtics have 17 NBA Championships and 23 retired numbers. Unfortunately not everyone is old enough to remember all those titles and all those players. I’m in my 40’s so I am at least old enough to remember Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, and those teams from the 80’s. Dave Cowens and John Havlicek were just before my time. Of course there were the glory years of Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, and Tommy Heinsohn.

The younger generation might remember Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce but not everyone had to suffer through the ML Carr years long enough to appreciate the glimmer of hope that Antoine Walker provided.

Which players do you wish you could have witnessed in person (or at least on high definition TV)? What games do you wish you could have watched?
