BOSTON - Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens says that Aron Baynes will start on Sunday evening in place of injured center Al Horford. Horford suffered a sprained right wrist in the first quarter of Friday night’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets, but the Celtics head coach said he won’t miss much time.
Stevens also noted that guard Marcus Smart has returned to the team after missing Friday’s preseason opener against the Charlotte Hornets. He will play on Sunday as the two teams face off at TD Garden.
