With thunder and lightning looming in the vicinity, Terry Rozier pulled up to the Plotkin home in Groton, Massachusetts sporting everything Puma. T-shirt, shorts, and shoes - all Puma. To be fair, the Boston Celtics guard did make it pretty clear one month ago when he debuted his “I ain’t f*ckin with nobody else but Puma” shirt. Listening to him speak about the brand makes it pretty clear that this is a match made in heaven.
After participating in the third installment of the Arbella Insurance Home Court Makeover Program, Rozier spoke highly of his decision to sign with Puma, including what he and the brand have planned for the upcoming season.
“As soon as the season ended I had a meeting with them in Boston and I was blown away from the jump,” said Rozier. “When my time came, I made it happen. I’m excited about it. They’re excited about it. Can’t wait for y’all to see what we got in store this year.”
Early last week, it was reported that the NBA will be removing all color restrictions on footwear for the 2018-19 season, re-opening the door for creative juices to flow with in-game shoes. Whether this limitation was lifted or not, Rozier says he and Puma were “going to do a crazy thing anyway.”
When talking about his new brand-family, Rozier seemed extremely excited, especially in regards to the upcoming season. “That’s what Puma is. We all about being creative and getting crazy. Like I said, this year is going to be... we got some crazy things up our sleeves.” It’s quite clear - Terry isn’t f**kin with nobody but Puma.
