The Boston Celtics announced on Saturday afternoon that Gordon Hayward will miss tonight’s matchup with the Atlanta Hawks due to personal reasons.

The Hayward family is expecting their third child right around this time, so there is plenty of speculation that this is the reason for his absence on the team’s quick one-game trip.
Hayward is averaging 11 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 41 games this season. He finished with 8 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds in Friday night’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
