This is not good:

After an earlier scuffle with Trae Young just a minute earlier, Marcus Smart and Deandre Bembry got into it during a jump ball. The two were separated, given a double technical, and then Smart charged Bembry after the situation had somewhat cooled. Smart will most likely be looking at a fine and a possible suspension. For what it’s worth, that’s Phil Lynch, the Celtics’ Director of Team Security, that finally tackles Smart.
Smart did not address the media after the game, but Kyrie Irving did:
Kyrie on Smart ejection: "We accept Marcus for who he is in terms of being fiery and bringing that type of energy. Shit happens sometimes where the game goes like that and an altercation happens, and we’ve just got to pick right back up."

Brad Stevens wasn’t exactly as supportive:
“I need to go back and watching it before I react to it. From what I saw, obviously he deserved to be ejected. I don’t know what was said, I haven’t asked him, I haven’t talked to him about it, but obviously there’s league punishment for that type of stuff and you can’t react that way.”
The Celtics face the Heat on MLK Day on Monday.
