Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving will miss Wednesday night’s matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers due to flu-like symptoms, the team announced this afternoon.

Irving has had at least 22 points and 5 assists in each of his last six games, including 26-plus points and 10-plus assists in three of his last four. The 26-year-old is averaging 23.5 points, 6.9 assists, and 4.8 rebounds in 42 games. Irving is having one of the best all-around seasons of his career. He set another personal best on Monday night with 8 steals.
Boston will also be without Al Horford vs Cleveland, as he’ll be taking the night off for rest.
The Celtics and Cavaliers tip off at 7:30 PM EST from TD Garden.
