Will the Celtics make a major trade during this season?

This question is more open ended than the other ones I’ve posted this preseason. You’ll notice that there’s no poll at the end.

The Celtics are set up to have an interesting season. The development of their young players and the re-booting of Gordon Hayward’s career will have a huge impact on both their chances for this season and their trajectory for the future.

Will they make a trade for a big star? Will they shoot for lower sights but still make a significant upgrade? Will they just do some housekeeping around the edges? Or will they stand pat and let things play out till the summer?

Jaylen Brown’s contract situation bears watching. As does the big man rotation. Could or should the Celtics make a deal to consolidate talent and/or balance the roster?
