After initially being ruled out for today’s game against the Toronto Raptors, Brad Stevens announced this morning that Enes Kanter will also miss tomorrow’s game in New York.

Here’s the play from Wednesday where Josh Richardson’s head slams into Kanter’s left knee, causing the knee contusion. Kanter remained in the game, but the Celtics will take a cautious approach with their big man with a four day lay off until Boston’s next game on Wednesday against the Bucks.
Kanter’s absence will be felt in the back-to-back. Against the Sixers, he was a solid defender in one-on-one match ups against Joel Embiid. The Celtics could certainly use him tonight against Marc Gasol and a forward-heavy lineup vs. the Knicks.
