BOSTON, MA — Josue Pavon and Sierra Goodwill shot CLNS Media’s first Garden Report show of the 2019-20 season on Sunday.

Despite the Celtics’ worst lapses on the defensive end, the locker room remained jubilant after a fresh team’s first game, with a year defined by turmoil behind them. A playoff atmosphere for the fourth quarter of a preseason game didn’t hurt either.

The Garden Report analyzed the points in the paint allowed by the defense, first impressions by Gordon Hayward after a summer of work at the Auerbach Center and the Tacko Fall hype that overwhelmed TD Garden.

First impressions — how’d Hayward look?

Rookie showcase — who stood out?

Center issues — who will start inside?
