The Boston Celtics announced that Gordon Hayward underwent successful surgery today to repair a fourth metacarpal fracture in his left hand.
In addition, the team announced that Hayward’s expected return to play is six weeks.

He is expected to return to play in approximately 6 weeks.
Hayward was injured when he ran into a screen from LaMarcus Aldridge.
If Hayward is able to return in six weeks exactly, he could be back for the Celtics Christmas Day matchup at the Toronto Raptors.
