The hits just keep on coming.

Kevin Knox seems to drop his shoulder and land a solid shot into Marcus Smart’s belly and hip area. Since the start of the season, Smart’s dealt with a myriad of injuries, but hasn’t missed a beat. Per the Celtics, he will not return. After the game, Smart said that he got hit in the same area that he injured his oblique last year and expects to miss a little time. Last season, he was injured in the second to last game of the regular season with a “partial avulsion of his left oblique abdominal muscle off of his iliac crest” and missed nearly a month before returning for the final two games against the Milwaukee Bucks.
