After undergoing further testing today, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski took to Twitter to nullify fears about Kyrie Iriving’s longterm health.

While Marucs Morris Sr. filled the headlines with frustration in postgame coverage of Saturday night’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, concern also also crept in about the health of Boston Celtics star guard, Kyrie Irving.

In the second quarter, Irving chased Garrett Temple man and fought to get over a screen set by Ivica Zubac. After barely avoiding a bad knee-on-knee collision with the large Croatian center, Irving landed awkwardly and tweaked his knee. He finished a few more plays, showing some pain, then headed to the locker room for the rest of the game.

Considering that Irving’s 2017-2018 campaign was cut short because of knee issues, his exit from Saturday’s game was an additional trouble on top of what became a dismal performance at home. At least for now, Boston can focus on the attitude and energy issues Morris raised in his postgame comments, without worrying about their top talent.
