As the trade deadline approached, many reports suggested that Davis was set on playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, whether it happened via trade or free agent signing in 2020. There continues to be speculation that much of this was pushed by Davis’ agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported ahead of the deadline that Davis’ list consists of the Lakers, New York Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers.
Boston arguably has the best set of assets across the list of potential Davis suitors, but time will tell if they’re willing to part with valued players like Jayson Tatum.
