#NEBHInjuryReport for tomorrow vs. Chicago:— Boston Celtics (@celtics) February 22, 2019
Aron Baynes (left foot contusion) - OUT
Gordon Hayward (right ankle sprain) - PROBABLE
Hayward missed Thursday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks due to a sprained right ankle. The 28-year-old told Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe on Friday that he believes he’ll be able to play against the Bulls.
Hayward told me he feels really good after today’s session and thinks he’ll be able to play tomorrow.— Adam Himmelsbach (@AdamHimmelsbach) February 22, 2019
Brad Stevens said after Friday’s practice that Hayward looked good and will be evaluated prior to Saturday’s game. The Celtics’ head coach said prior to Thursday’s game that Hayward felt “decent”, but not good enough to go against Milwaukee.
Hayward sprained his ankle earlier this week while working out with Semi Ojeleye at the Auerbach Center during the all-star break.
Center Aron Baynes remains out with a left foot contusion.
Boston and Chicago tip off on Saturday night at 8:00 PM EST.
