Aron Baynes had been playing really good defense against Joel Embiid and Boston’s big lineup with him and Al Horford were giving the Sixers fits on both ends of the floor. Unfortunately, this happened:

After about a minute of laying on the floor, Baynes gathered himself and limped straight back to the locker room. Here’s the update from the Celtics:
#NEBHInjuryReport Aron Baynes has been diagnosed with a left ankle injury and his availability for the rest of tonight's game is unknown.

Baynes missed two games earlier in the year with a left ankle sprain back in December.
UPDATE: Baynes will not return to the game tonight.
