Tatum fell awkwardly after trying to contest a Kemba Walker shot on Saturday in Charlotte. He had wanted to play Sunday vs. the Spurs, but the Celtics played it safe with their 21-year-old star. Tatum’s scoring punch will be needed against the Cavaliers with Kyrie Irving unavailable.
UPDATE: Al Horford went through shootaround and is probable for tonight, too.
#NEBHInjuryReport update: Al Horford (left knee soreness) and Jayson Tatum (low back contusion) will both go through shootaround this morning in Cleveland. Coach Stevens says they’re “questionable-to-probable” for tonight’s game.
