After going down hard in a fall against the Charlotte Hornets last Saturday, Robert Williams III is set to return to the active list as the Boston Celtics take on the Indiana Pacers on Friday for what’s one of the two most important games left in the regular season.
The Boston Celtics injury report for tomorrow vs the Indiana Pacers is a shorter one:
— Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) March 28, 2019
Both Al Horford and Robert Williams are probable to play.
That’s the whole report!
Robert Williams III was diagnosed with a lower back contusion after a tough fall on a putback dunk attempt in his lone career start. He missed Sunday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs as well as Tuesday’s game against the Cleveland Cavs. The Celtics sit a single game behind the Indiana Pacers in the standings, so Friday’s game could give Boston the current tiebreaker and put them in the fourth seed with under two weeks left in the season.
The fully healthy Celtics take on the Indiana Pacers tomorrow night at 7PM EST.
