At long last, the time to see Romeo Langford, Grant Williams, Carsen Edwards, Tremont Waters and others is upon us this week as the Boston Celtics are set to participate in the 2019 Las Vegas Summer League. Here’s who’ll be suiting up:

This roster features 9 players with no prior NBA experience, including Boston’s selections from last month’s draft. Tacko Fall, who signed with Boston with an Exhibition 10 contract will also suit up, giving us our first look at the 7’7” specimen out of the University of Central Florida.
Romeo Langford is listed on the roster despite concerns surrounding his pre-draft hand injury, so that’s a good sign that he’s progressing nicely and has the intention to suit up at some point this month.
This will also be the debut of the Williams’s in both Grant and Robert Williams III (also known as the Space and Time Lords). What’s funny about this roster is that it pretty much features our entire front line for the regular season as well, considering how the team is currently constructed. In related news, the Celtics need frontcourt help badly.
Actually, Enes Kanter just signed with the Celtics as I wrote that last sentence, so you’re all a part of my discovery of that fact. Still, Boston will look to develop Robert and Grant Williams, and Summer League will help with that.
Aaron Harrison is the most experienced player on the roster, so it’ll be interesting to see how he demonstrates his skill in front of the NBA world. The Celtics are set to tip off the first game of their Summer League slate on July 6th.
