Mailbag request: Give me your trade ideas

Opening up the mailbag once again. I have a feeling most of the questions are going to be NBA trade deadline related so I figured I’d go ahead and make this a trade themed mailbag.

In fact, I’m throwing down the gauntlet. I want to challenge you to come up with trade ideas that make sense for both teams, work in the trade machine, and have some vague basis in reality.

I’ll pick the best ideas (and maybe some of the worst) and respond to them the best I can.

Note that I’m well aware (from being in the position of coming up with trade ideas) that this is hard to do. No matter how good the idea is, someone out there is absolutely going to hate it and fire bomb your mentions. But that’s fine. That’s part of the fun. Just remember to have a thick skin and understand that this is all in good fun.
