Boston Celtics Injury Report vs. Orlando (1/24):
— Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) January 23, 2020
Jaylen Brown - Right Ankle Sprain - QUESTIONABLE
Enes Kanter - Right Hip Contusion - OUT
Jayson Tatum - Right Groin Strain - QUESTIONABLE
Robert Williams - Left Hip Bone Edema - OUT
Kanter will miss his eighth game of the season against a big Magic frontline featuring Nikola Vucevic, Khem Birch and Mo Bamba.
If Brown can’t go, he’ll miss back-to-back games, after being out against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. It would be Brown’s fourth game missed out of the last five, as he recently returned from a sprained right thumb. Overall, Brown has missed seven games this season.
Tatum has missed one game this season, a loss against the Detroit Pistons. He came up limping in the second half against Memphis on Wednesday and was diagnosed with a strained right groin. Brad Stevens said after the game that he’s not concerned this will be a long-term issue for Tatum
Williams remains out for his 23rd straight game. He’s been out since suffering a fall against the Denver Nuggets. Recently Williams started amping up his activity towards a potential return later this season.
