One of the last players to make the Celtics final roster at the season’s outset, Javonte Green received a little more security Tuesday.
Since Green was not waived by the team yesterday, his $898,310 salary he is making this season becomes fully guaranteed.
Little late on this, but Javonte Green was not waived today, so his $898,310 salary for the 2019-20 season with the Boston Celtics is now fully guaranteed.

The 26-year-old Green, who initially signed a partially guaranteed, two-year contract, has provided a lift off the bench with his athleticism and energy in his first season in Boston. Green has appeared in 27 games while averaging 7.7 minutes, 2.8 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.
No surprise: With the deadline passed, Javonte Green’s contract is now guaranteed.
