We’ve been talking about it all week, but for Gordon Hayward to get to Indiana, it has to be via a sign-and-trade. Myles Turner has been rumored to be the centerpiece and SNY’s Ian Begley is reporting that Aaron Holiday and T.J. Warren are players that Danny Ainge might be insisting on in the deal. The Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn is reporting that Boston won’t budge on Warren or Victor Oladipo being included in the deal.
UPDATE: According to The New York Times’ Marc Stein, Hayward is eyeing a 4-year/$100 million contract with the Pacers. For what it’s worth, Myles Turner ($18 million per year) and Doug McDermott ($7,333,333 per year) fit in a potential sign-and-trade. Stein is also reporting the the Knicks are still in play for shorter two-year deal for less money.
