After returning to action vs Houston following a second ankle sprain in Oklahoma City Jaylen Brown then suffered a calf contusion following a clash with Russell Westbrook. According to the team, Brown participated in the morning’s shootaround to test the ankle, however he is now downgraded to OUT for the 8pm tipoff.

With the All Star break looming after tonight’s clash, now is a perfect opportunity for Brown to get healthy for the final stretch of games in the regular season. With Brown being the Celtics primary wing defender on the starting unit, Celtics coach Brad Stevens will now look to other options to match up against Kawhi Leonard tonight.
