Enes Kanter is having a rough couple of weeks. After strong showings in January and February, he’s been hampered with a hip bruise. Since the All-Star break, he’s played only 31 minutes and gone 1-for-7 from the field. It’s unclear if the big man’s minutes have been down due to match ups--Kanter only saw five minutes of playing time against the super-sized Lakers on Sunday--or if he’s still sluggish from the injury.
Or maybe it’s all the pizza and pancakes Kanter are during the week off:
Regardless of whatever is happening on the floor, Kanter remains a bright spot off it and is refreshingly candid about his career in the NBA and his personal and political life. You can check out Kanter’s weekly podcast with NBC Boston’s Chris Forsberg here.
