If you told me that one of the Boston Celtics players somehow had to test positive for COVID-19, I would have picked Marcus Smart. It’s not because he’s tough; he fought off a nasty eye infection earlier in the season that could have blinded him for life. It’s because he’s honest and heartfelt and frankly, the perfect spokesperson to deliver the gravity of the situation and leader by example to get us through it.
