A possible NBA 2K playoff preview: CelticsBlog vs. Liberty Ballers

Real basketball is still a few weeks away from potentially returning to our screens and right now, it feels like Ross and Rachel, “on-again, off-again” storyline. SB Nation has been running multiple theme weeks to pass the time and this week, we’re featuring video games.

Having already looked at the basketball games of old, it seems only right to take a look at the current virtualized basketball offerings. While we wait for a possible resumption of the 2019-2020 season, CelticsBlog and Liberty Ballers are teaming up to bring you something as close to basketball as possible.

There will be a potential playoff preview between the Celtics and 76ers played out on NBA 2K and streamed live via Twitch. Behind the controllers will be me for CelticsBlog and Tom West for Liberty Ballers, with Game 1 set to tip off at 4 pm ET on June 16th. There will then be subsequent games every other day in this seven-game series until a winner is crowned and bragging rights established.
