The NBA announced this afternoon that they have fined Marcus Smart $5K for violating the league’s anti-flopping rules. Here’s the play:

That bucket plus the free throw would extend the Toronto lead to twelve late in the third quarter. By the eight-minute mark of the 4th, Smart would single-handedly erase the Raptors’ advantage with five consecutive threes and an and-1.
Per league rules, successive violations could mean fines of $10K, $15K, and $30K out of Smart’s wallet. A sixth time could mean an even larger fine or possible suspension.
