The Boston Celtics injury report for Sunday’s game vs the Miami Heat is a lengthy one. It’s so long, it encompassed three tweets:

It was reported earlier in the day on Saturday that Jayson Tatum was facing a 10 to 14-day absence due to the health and safety protocols. Boston listed him as doubtful vs out for Sunday’s game, leaving a slim chance that something changes with his status.

Jaylen Brown, Javonte Green and Semi Ojeleye were the other new additions to the injury report. They are all listed as questionable due to the health and safety protocols. For Green, he just returned from a seven-day quarantine in the protocol.

Romeo Langford and Kemba Walker remain out as they recover from offseason surgery. And Tristan Thompson, Grant Williams and Robert Williams all remain out due to the health and safety protocols as well.

NBA teams are required to have at least eight players in uniform to play a game. With nine players on the injury report, Boston could be at the minimum required players for Sunday’s game.

The available Celtics are:

  • Carsen Edwards
  • Tacko Fall
  • Aaron Nesmith
  • Payton Pritchard
  • Marcus Smart
  • Jeff Teague
  • Daniel Theis
  • Tremont Waters

Boston will issue an updated injury report in advance of the game tomorrow night. Tip-off is currently scheduled for 7:00 PM ET.
